Madres, trabajadoras, esposas, amigas y amantes… pero ¿para cuándo NOSOTRAS?

Calpurnia Pearson adora a su familia, pero hay momentos en que le gustaría dejar de ser madre y esposa y ser simplemente Nia. A sus treinta y cinco años, se siente enclaustrada en la rutina por las responsabilidades de la vida adulta. También le frustra que sus esfuerzos por ascender en la editorial donde trabaja no se vean recompensados, ya que sigue en el mismo puesto desde hace años y parece que nada va a cambiar. Sin embargo, se equivoca. Uno de sus jefes se jubila y lo sustituye Oliver, un joven atractivo que enseguida valora su talento y con el que se verá atrapada en una situación impensable, lo que podría llevar a Nia a reconciliarse con la vida. Calpurnia Pearson loves her family, but there are times when she wishes she could stop being a mother and a wife and just be Nia. At thirty-five years old, she feels cloistered by her routine and the responsibilities of adult life. She’s frustrated that her efforts to move up the ladder at the publishing house where she works are not rewarded; she has been in the same position for years and it seems that nothing is going to change. However, she might be wrong. One of her bosses retires and is replaced by Oliver, an attractive young man who immediately recognizes her talents and with whom she will find herself trapped in an unthinkable situation, one which could lead Nia to reconcile with life. Or quite the opposite…
