The Bones in the Womb

As a three-year-old, Cate was snatched away from her parents as they lay sleeping in a campsite. Every year, Les, the homeless drifter who abducted her, has called her mother to let her know that her child is alive and safe. Cate’s mother believes that her daughter was murdered and that Les is playing a twisted game. But to Cate, Les has become the only father she has ever known and loved. Now Les has decided it’s time for Cate to go home. But how will Cate cope with learning to love a mother she can’t remember? And how will her mother reconcile the memories of her three-year-old daughter with the hard-bitten teenager who turns up on her doorstep?
