The Word of Unbinding

Story first published in 'Fantastic' in 1964, and reprinted in 'The Wind's Twelve Quarters' in 1975. Along with “The Rule of Names,” this was one of two short stories to serve as a precursor to the author’s famed Earthsea saga.
